FOOD SECURITY AND FIGHTING HUNGRY

Food security and the fight against hunger are topics of great relevance on the international agenda, also promoted by the United Nations (UN).

The Conference aims to be a milestone in the international debate, expanding dialogue between governments, institutions and society, stimulating cooperation, and leaving a legacy of knowledge and engagement for continuous improvement in food security issues, based on the example of the city of São Paulo .

ALYSSON PAOLINELLI

Alysson Paolinelli was the leader of the sustainable tropical agricultural revolution that gave Brazil food self-sufficiency, transformed the country into an agri-food powerhouse and created horizons for global food security and the sustainable development of countries in the tropical belt.

Tireless, Paolinelli has always worked towards the evolution of sustainable food production. Among his initiatives, he founded and presided over the Forum of the Future, a study center that brings together several scientists and debates possibilities for improving agricultural production.
